Plan, organize, and lead daily recreational activities (e.g., arts and crafts, sports, outdoor games, team-building exercises). Adapt activities to meet the interests, skill levels, and needs of campers. Ensure activities are safe, engaging, and aligned with camp goals. Foster teamwork and encourage positive participation during group activities. Supervise and monitor campers throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain a constant presence in assigned activity areas, ensuring campers stay within designated boundaries. Respond to camper needs and behaviors in a calm, supportive manner. Act as a role model by maintaining appropriate conduct and setting a positive example for campers. Ensure campers are properly hydrated, fed, and dressed for outdoor activities. Promote and exemplify the camp's core values (e.g., respect, responsibility, teamwork, kindness). Attend pre-camp training sessions to understand camp policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Assist in preparing camp facilities and activity areas. Communicate effectively with staff and camp leadership about camper progress and issues. Document and report any incidents or concerns regarding campers' well-being. Participate in camp-wide events, ceremonies, and other special activities. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude to inspire campers and fellow staff.
