Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT, MPT, or DPT) and play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for diverse patient populations. In this engaging role, you will assess patient needs, develop personalized care plans, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community settings. Your expertise will empower patients to regain independence and achieve their health goals through compassionate, skilled care. Key Responsibilities The job description should include the following job duties:
Primary:
SNF/LTC therapy at
MMRC Wayne Secondary:
Outpatient therapy for
MMRC ALF
patients and Home Health therapy for
Avanti Tertiary:
Float to MMRC Novi for coverage as needed Requirements Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), Master of Physical Therapy (MPT), or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopedics to inform effective treatment approaches. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse patient populations including geriatrics with compassion and professionalism. Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and trigger point therapy techniques preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients about physiotherapy practices.
