Active Colorado LPN License Required Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week Long Term Care (LTC) contract assignment in Springfield, Colorado. The LPN will work as a medication and treatment nurse in a 28-30 bed LTC intermediate care facility. The campus also includes a memory care unit with separate staffing support. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR Provide direct nursing care and support to LTC residents Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting Requirements Active and unrestricted Colorado LPN License Previous Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred Experience with medication administration and treatment nursing Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work 12-hour day shifts Assignment Details 13-week contract Day shift schedule 36 guaranteed hours per week Supportive LTC environment Memory care unit staffed separately
