$34,038—$47,397 annually Licensed Practical Nurse WRSD is seeking an LPN to manage the nursing office and duties to ensure the health and well-being of all students to include all related regulatory reports at our Bay Path University preschool site. This position is full time, following the school year calendar (183 days). This position will start at the end of August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. Primary Duties Review the students' files for correct, updated medical records. Assess and treat any acute student needs. Communicate with administration and parents after assessment. Administer student medications as directed on the medical form from each child's doctor and signed by each student's parent. Document administration and note when more medication is needed. Ensure compliance with policies and guidelines regarding the dispensing of medication(s) at school including contact with parents and physicians as needed. Ensure that medication is kept in the double-locked, metal box designated for medication(s) inside the nurse's office. The keys are kept in a separate location. Implement annual vision screening. Implement annual scoliosis screening for students in Preschool. Contact consulting physician as needed. Requirements Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and able to practice in Massachusetts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with children in a medical setting preferred. Progress toward Intermediate rating on the SLPI or other comparable sign language proficiency exam to be evaluated every two years from hire. Salary will be based on degree(s) and experience.
