Licensed Practical Nurse - Clinic

LPN Guaranteed Hours:

36 hours

Contract Length:

13 weeks

Shift:

7:00 AM - 7:30

PM Schedule:

Weekend and holiday rotation required; No on-call

Requirements & Documentation Experience:

2+ years of LPN experience required; Doctor's office experience highly preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

Active Illinois LPN license (via Nursys) and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.

Submission Materials:

Work history Skills checklist (pertinent to LPN, current to 1 year) Two completed supervisory reference forms with employment dates Documentation of permanent address (50-mile radius restriction applies)

Core Responsibilities Clinical Support:

Assist providers with patient exams, treatments, and procedures.

Communication:

Manage patient phone calls, relay test results, and provide follow-up care instructions.

Administration:

Handle pre-certifications for tests/consults, submit prescriptions/refills, and maintain medical records.

Lab Duties:

Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and routine basic waived testing.

Coordination & Education:

Schedule tests/referrals and educate patients and families on care plans.

Pay:

Up to $1,710.00 per week
