Weeks Job Description:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a Medical-Surgical telemetry overflow unit. This unit operates as a flexible care space designed to accommodate emergency department boarder patients, with patient volume varying based on demand. The role involves providing direct patient care and supporting the healthcare team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges Provide care including medication administration (IM, SQ, oral), wound care, and hygiene support Perform procedures such as Foley catheter insertion, blood glucose monitoring, and feeding tube care Support oxygen therapy and respiratory care (nasal cannula, masks) Communicate patient updates using SBAR and verbal reporting Document all care in

Epic EMR Requirements:
