Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a licensed practical nurse within a dynamic school environment near Leavenworth, KS. This contract position offers consistent hours and the unique chance to provide dedicated 1:1 care throughout an extended school year schedule. What we're looking for: Valid and current LPN or LVN license in the state of Kansas Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric settings preferred Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with staff, students, and families Ability to follow individualized healthcare plans and respond to emergent needs Commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive environment for students Availability for full-time hours, including Extended School Year (ESY) and New School Year (NSY) dates Responsibilities include: Providing 1:1 nursing care to a designated student according to healthcare plans Administering medications, monitoring health status, and documenting interventions Collaborating with educational and healthcare teams to support student well-being Ensuring compliance with all state, district, and nursing regulations Acting quickly and effectively in case of emergencies Communicating regularly with parents, guardians, and staff about student health Schedule details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

June 1st-25th, Monday through Thursday, 8:10-12:10
NSY:
