What we're looking for: Valid and current LPN or LVN license in the state of Kansas Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric settings preferred Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with staff, students, and families Ability to follow individualized healthcare plans and respond to emergent needs Commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive environment for students Availability for full-time hours, including Extended School Year (ESY) and New School Year (NSY) dates Responsibilities include: Providing 1:1 nursing care to a designated student according to healthcare plans Administering medications, monitoring health status, and documenting interventions Collaborating with educational and healthcare teams to support student well-being Ensuring compliance with all state, district, and nursing regulations Acting quickly and effectively in case of emergencies Communicating regularly with parents, guardians, and staff about student health Schedule details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
