Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 12-hour shifts Sun City Center, FL 33573 From $29 an hour - Full-time From $29 an hour - Full-time Cypress Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care Residence is a family-owned and operated retirement community located in Sun City Center.

LPN Opening:

Full-time Desired applicant will work 7am - 7pm (3) days per week, including every other weekend rotation as needed . Paid weekly. This is a hands-on nursing position; we are seeking an LPN that has the desire and passion to care for the elderly. Job Requirements:

• The qualified applicant must hold a current state of Florida nursing license
• Must have the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
• Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must pass level two background screening
• Dependability is a must
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• One year of nursing experience preferred, preferably in an assisted living environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
• Proficiency with computers
• Successfully complete training as required by Cypress Creek ALF in accordance with state regulations Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Providing hands-on nursing services to residents, medication & treatment administration
• Working as a team with a caregiver (CNA/RA) that is working with you to ensure the resident's needs are met
• Assist in providing feedback to Wellness Director & Resident Care Director to assist with care plans as needed for Residents
• Willing to seek out new methods and principles, incorporating them into existing nursing practices
• Evidence & ongoing display of basic leadership skills and supervision
• Provide resident-directed services that honor individual lifestyles and preferences
• Interpret facility policies and procedures to staff, residents, visitors, and government agencies as required
• Manage resident emergencies, assessment of resident conditions, and complete necessary documents
• Act as a role model for all staff demonstrating a high standard of service that supports the organization's mission and values We are proud to be a smoke-free campus.
