Job description Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) The Argyle Assisted Living Community Denver, CO The Argyle Assisted Living Community, operated by the Ladies Relief Society of Denver, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. Position Overview The LPN will be a vital member of our clinical team, which includes an additional LPN, the Resident Life Director, Clinical Manager, Associate Executive Director, and this role. This position will report directly to the Associate Executive Director and partner with all clinical team members. The LPN will not have direct reports but will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents. The LPN will also participate in stand-up or weekly operations meetings as determined by the Associate Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities Medication Administration Support:
Assist in managing and supporting the medication administration program to ensure compliance and resident safety.
Resident Assessments:
Complete onsite and offsite assessments for residents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between residents and their primary care providers to ensure clear and effective communication.
Care Plans:
Review and support resident care plans, ensuring they are comprehensive, accurate, and aligned with individual needs.
Resident Advocacy:
Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring their health and well-being are prioritized.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the clinical team to identify and address resident needs promptly and effectively. Qualifications Current and valid LPN license in the state of Colorado. Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare environment is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. A commitment to delivering exceptional care and embracing the culture of Unreasonable Hospitality. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
