The Data Analyst will build and maintain statistical-based analytics and reports in support of production goals and initiatives. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
run and prepare annual reports data support for executive needs work with the sales department to develop and enhance dashboards and reports meet new reporting needs for new roles develop basic queries to be used for data mining and writing reports develop automated routines for extracting requested information examine reports to locate and resolve errors develop exhibits including tables and graphs develop excel databases to be used for analysis review exhibits for data and labeling inconsistencies uses labeling that clearly describes the data being shown proactively reviews queries complete report requests from other departments Be equipped with: strong decision-making, analytical, and problem- solving abilities strong intuition for communicating complex information through concise reports and visualizations strong customer service skills organizational and time management skills attention to detail ability to comprehend technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly to changes intermediate understanding of key metrics ability to create pivot tables and charts using Microsoft® excel Bring education and experience from: a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience power BI experience (preferred) basic Cognos query experience (preferred) proven experience as a data analyst (preferred) Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
