Life Enrichment Specialist Luther Manor 4545 North 92nd Street (Show on map) May 12, 2026 Luther Manor is seeking a Life Enrichment Specialist with Music Therapy being a bonus 1st Shift (3 days a week which includes 1 Saturday a month) As a Life Enrichment Specialist, you will: plan, organize and implement a variety of educational and recreational programs with the intent of fostering independence of the resident regardingtheir physical, mental,socialand emotional needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinates and/or conductsprograms for residents that are educational, recreational, and social. ?Conducts group programs and one-on-one visits. ?Organizes and executes tours on and off campus for residents as well as instructs and supervises volunteers involved. Keep current and proper records of resident involvement and response. Provide residents encouragement and cueing to attend Life Enrichment opportunities offered. Coordinate and assign volunteer interaction asappropriate. Promote an environment of open communication between co-workers/multi-disciplinaryteam. Follows state and federal regulations, as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Human Resources Manual, and Resident Bill of Rights, and adheres to safety rules. ?Reports potential/actual safety hazards to supervisors and/or Director of Safety and Securityimmediately. Other duties as assigned.? ??Experience and/or education in programming,organizingand working with older adults. ?Clear communication skills both verbal and written, as well as tact and courtesy when working withvarious levels/capabilities of residents and their families and friends. ?Ability to keepaccurateand clear records according to Luther Manor and HFS 83. ?Assistin the transfer and transportation of residents with the average resident weight of 165 pounds. ?Use a team approach with all staff anddepartments. ?Must function independently; have flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with all staff,residentsand families. ?Ability to work flexible hours, includingsome eveningsand weekendsin accordance withresident needs and desires. ?Ability to prioritize and be organized.
