Lifeguard

SUMMARY :

Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers, ensuring the safety of all guests in the pool area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain active surveillance of pool area. Caution swimmers regarding unsafe areas or activities. Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer CPR and first aid as needed. Maintain order in swimming areas. Enforce the company rules concerning the swimming areas. Maintain and follow OSHA Regulations/MSDS, to include Heat Illness Prevention and Recognition. Any additional tasks and/or duties as assigned by Hotel Management. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, including abiding to uniform requirements.

EXPERIENCE

Experience as a Lifeguard preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Lifeguard Certification CPR/AED/First Aid

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills. #ZRPRM
