Pool Manager /Club Manager Job Summary:
The Pool Attendant/Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet members and guests, provide information about pool services, policies, and amenities, and ensure excellent customer experiencePool Safety:
Monitor pool activities, ensuring adherence to safety rules and regulations. Perform routine checks of pool water quality and ensure the pool area is free of potential hazardsMaintenance and Cleanliness:
Keep the pool area clean, including the pool deck, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and surrounding spaces. Empty trash bins, clean restrooms, and assist with the proper upkeep of pool equipmentMonitor Pool Area:
Observe and prevent unsafe behavior (such as running, diving, or rough play), enforce club policies, and provide first aid if necessary. Communicate with lifeguards or management in the event of emergenciesCheck-in Process:
Assist guests with checking in at the pool area, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the pool facilitiesReport Issues:
Notify management about any equipment issues, maintenance needs, or safety concernsEvent Support:
Assist in setting up and maintaining the pool area for special events or private partiesQualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; CPR and First Aid certification is requiredExperience:
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or pool maintenance is a plusSkills:
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and knowledge of pool safety and maintenance proceduresPhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move items such as pool chairs, umbrellas, and towels; ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsWorking Conditions:
