Job Description

The Lift Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all crane and hoisting operations to ensure lifts are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project requirements. Responsibilities Plan and direct daily lifting operations. Review lift plans, crane setup, load weights, and rigging requirements. Conduct pre-lift meetings with crane operators, riggers, and field personnel. Ensure all crane inspections, certifications, and safety requirements are current. Monitor site conditions and stop work when unsafe conditions exist. Coordinate lifting activities with project supervision and field teams. Maintain proper documentation related to lift operations and safety. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lift Director or in a similar role. Minimum of 10 years of crane and rigging experience. National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certification or local equivalent required. Logistics and planning experience required. Knowledge of OSHA crane and lifting regulations. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to read lift plans and load charts.
