The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering settings. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food products safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service and quality dishes. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with a focus on cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation. Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, baking). Previous experience in restaurant or catering settings is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
