Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality in every dish Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional dining experiences Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with meal prep, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service Support kitchen team members during busy hours to ensure timely service and smooth operations Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, storage, and hygiene procedures Contribute to menu planning by providing feedback on dishes and suggesting improvements based on customer preferences Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills with the ability to handle various kitchen tools safely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with dietary department or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration Familiarity with catering, meal preparation, and food service operations a plus.

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
