Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and special catering events. Follow all safety protocols related to knife skills, cooking techniques, and equipment use to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrating strong kitchen skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations. Strong understanding of the food industry's best practices for hygiene and safety. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
