Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed during food handling and preparation Assist with menu planning by providing input on dish presentation and ingredient selection Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knives, utensils, and cooking equipment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation for service periods Support catering events by preparing dishes in accordance with event specifications Serve food efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols Proven culinary experience in restaurant or fine dining settings, showcasing strong food preparation skills Excellent knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques across various cuisines Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is desirable Strong understanding of the food industry standards for quality, hygiene, and customer service Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
