Line Cook the View Restaurant (Experienced)

Line Cook (Seasonal & Year-Round) $23.00-$25.00/hour The Mirror Lake Inn is looking for professional line cooks to join the team at The View Restaurant, known for its locally influenced casual fine dining menus. Experience is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. The View Restaurant is Lake Placid's only AAA Four-Diamond and DiRONA rated restaurant. There's an opportunity for growth and advancement. You'll work with great people in a fun work environment producing quality food in a clean, professional atmosphere. We are looking for focused and driven line cooks to join our culinary team. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the sous chefs with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our employee and customer satisfaction goals. Responsibilities Set up and preparation of station for service Cook menu items to order in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Follow sous chef's instructions Break down station and clean kitchen at end of shift Ensure high quality standards for food Comply with sanitation regulations, allergy protocols and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Requirements

• Ability to work a variety of stations and shifts as business demands Previous experience in kitchens, cooking or an interest in Culinary Arts preferred Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Professional and positive attitude Desire and willingness to learn and grow Responsible, dependable, and trustworthy Team oriented individual Focused and Driven
