Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation to meet restaurant standards Support kitchen staff during busy service hours, including catering events and special functions Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Participate in menu planning discussions and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices Strong knife skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and food service operations Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant team.
