We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes that delight our guests. You will work in a fast-paced, small-team environment, ensuring that every plate meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to maintain consistency. Experience Previous experience, minimum 1 year, as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools. Understanding of temperatures for protein preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment. A passion for the food industry, catering, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
