In this role, you will be assisting our Chef, preparing ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Whether you're sharpening your knife skills or gaining experience in fine dining environments, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your culinary career in a relaxed-paced, supportive setting. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly according to established recipes and standards Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols at all times Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by ensuring timely meal preparation and plating Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in every dish served Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining a professional attitude Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is preferred but not required. Experience working in restaurant or fine dining settings is a plus Knowledge of food handling regulations, catering processes, and general kitchen operations is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and precision Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment Shifts/Schedules Hours are mainly M- F late afternoon through early evenings, Almost never past 9 pm.
