Liquor Store Clerk

Are you looking for a fun and drama free work environment? Can you show up to work when you are scheduled? We are looking for a Part-time Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and drive sales at a small, family-owned Liquor Store. You will help identify customer needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions and complete transactions accurately through the POS system. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly provide great customer service will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied with the shopping experience by helping provide a clean, safe, well stocked and upbeat environment. Responsibilities Provide accurate information to customers Provide excellent customer service Process sales accurately through POS system Stock shelves throughout shift Learn about products carried to provide customer service and answer questions Assist in maintaining accurate inventory Maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere Ensure all sales meet the legal and regulatory requirements Skills Basic math skills Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships Flexibility to work various shifts Ability to operate a cash register accurately Ability to use a ladder Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to freely move throughout the store Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time Must be able to work evenings and weekends (store closes at 7pm) Ability to use a small step ladder Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
