The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and compassionate legal professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in plaintiff personal injury law. You will manage a full caseload under the supervision of attorneys, acting as the key point of contact for clients, providers, and insurers throughout the life of a case. Previous litigation and personal injury experience are required. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered. Responsibilities including, but not limited to: Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until conclusion of the case. Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and legal steps. Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement demands. Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills. Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial as necessary. Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law (required). Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law, court procedures, and e-filing systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in legal case management software Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment Knowledge of Trial pad and/or TrialWorks a plus Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Excel and PowerPoint experience is necessary Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules Organization skills and attention to detail
