Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will support our Attorneys across a broad spectrum of litigation matters by managing case files, communicating with clients, conducting legal research, drafting documents, handling filings and coordinating discovery processes. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will be essential in ensuring smooth case progression and efficient legal operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your paralegal expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services. Duties Assist attorney with all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, trial support, and post-trial activities Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as Neos and document review platforms Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case strategies Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity Coordinate discovery efforts by reviewing documents, preparing production logs, and facilitating communication with clients and opposing counsel Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely filing of court documents in accordance with jurisdictional rules Support administrative functions including data entry, calendar management, scheduling interviews, and providing executive administrative support as needed Requirements Paralegal experience with a strong background in personal injury, civil litigation or other case types is preferred. Non-paralegal experience in a relevant field can be acceptable Proficiency in legal case management software including PCLaw and document management systems like Neos or similar platforms is a bonus Excellent research skills Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents and proofread materials meticulously Experience with document review processes and familiarity with contracts and legal drafting standards Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Effective interviewing techniques for client or witness interviews and gathering pertinent information accurately Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, transcription, phone etiquette, and general administrative support with professionalism Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting Join us if you're passionate about supporting litigation efforts through meticulous organization, thorough research, and impactful communication.
