Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, managing medical routines, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs, medication administration, and reporting any changes or concerns promptly Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document medical information accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations Support patients with medical procedures such as catheter care, Hoyer lift transfers, and other mobility aids while ensuring safety protocols are followed Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a healthy living environment Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting patient records or communicating health updates to healthcare professionals Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate home health services and ensure continuity of care in compliance with all regulations Qualifications Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and HIPAA compliance standards Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are advantageous Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges preferred Ability to lift patients safely using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts; knowledge of catheter care and hospice protocols is beneficial Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers Join us as a Live-In Caregiver to make a lasting impact on the lives of those you serve!
