CNA or HHA certification preferred. Overview Become a valued member of our caring team as a Live-In Caregiver, providing personalized, dedicated care in the comfort of a home. This fulfilling role lets you make a real difference in a senior's life, offering support that encourages independence and well-being. You'll work closely with the client and this family to ensure their safety, comfort, and dignity while delivering outstanding home care. This position also gives you the chance to build meaningful relationships and create a warm, supportive environment for those you care for. Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance. Perform vital signs assessments such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to track health trends. Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, or hospice care by implementing tailored strategies.. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and preparation. Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing personal spaces. Support clients' emotional well-being through companionship and engaging activities suited to their interests and abilities. Qualifications Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, nursing home environments, or long-term care settings. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and trained in hospice or palliative care practices preferred. Excellent communication skills with an understanding of medical documentation standards like HIPAA compliance. Capable of working independently in a live-in environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
