Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Class B Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to primarily operate a fleet of heavy, single-unit (Class B) vehicles equipped with rear-mounting kits for Moffett truck-mounted forklifts. As a vital link in our logistics chain, you'll ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles, including heavy, single-unit (Class B) flatbed vehicles with rear-mount Moffett forklifts. Load and unload freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards. Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while managing route driving schedules effectively. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, ensuring proper handling of cargo. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate professionally with customers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving regulations and safety practices Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and handling various trailer types. Strong knowledge of load & unload procedures for freight of different types and sizes. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Excellent route planning skills with an emphasis on efficiency and punctuality. Familiarity with forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo. Pay:
$22.12 - $33.17 per hour
