This role involves long-haul driving across various routes, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of freight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience operating heavy-duty sleeper trucks with 53' dry vans. This position offers the opportunity to work with a reputable company committed to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers over long distances across multiple states. Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all safety regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Ensure cargo is secured properly for transport. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during transit. Follow all federal, state, and company safety policies to promote a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight transportation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the type of trailer operated (e.g., refrigerated trailer, tanker). Experience operating manual and automatic transmission trucks. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety regulations governing commercial transportation. Pay rate is based on qualifications, endorsements, the location of your home state, and the areas you are willing to go. If you are willing to deliver to major and congested cities, the pay rate is higher. TSA (hazmat certification works the same as TSA, but we do not haul hazmat freight), TWIC, and tanker endorsement are a plus. We are based in Long Island, NY, and we run all states from Texas, up and to the east. We do not go past Boston, MA , and do not haul past Colorado. Our drivers are mainly based in the northeast, and they are home weekly. Our runs are mainly from brokerages, usually from

NJ, CT, PA

,NY, and go Midwest, then reload from south, and reload coming back to the Northeast/home state. Pay rate starts from $0.60 to $0.65 per mile.
