Duties Coordinate and dispatch freight loads to local drivers using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine. Monitor GPS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure on-time deliveries. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and warehouse personnel via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times. Utilize transportation planning tools and data entry skills to schedule pickups, and deliveries. Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in fleet management and supply chain processes. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and shipment statuses logs using AS400 or similar systems. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to coordinate freight movement and resolve any issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS), Oracle Transportation Management, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of GPS technology, and transportation planning principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally. Demonstrated analysis skills for logistics optimization and problem-solving within freight operations. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, fleet management practices, and supply chain fundamentals. Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail; experience with AS400 or SyteLine is a plus.
