Locum Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work locum shifts in Mishawaka, Indiana (IN). Responsibilities:

Provide specialized cardiothoracic care including first assist coverage, vein/artery harvesting using the Maquet system, chest tube and pacing wire removal, complex wound management, and coordination with cardiac rehab and multidisciplinary teams. Participates in perioperative decision making with cardiovascular surgeons and responds to emergent situations using ACLS protocols.
