Job Description

Job Summary Max Staffing LLC is seeking a qualified and compassionate Locum Physician to support a healthcare team providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is comfortable working in a clinical setting, enjoys collaborative care, and can step into a temporary or contract assignment with confidence. The Locum Physician will provide direct patient care, complete evaluations, manage treatment plans, and work closely with clinical and administrative team members to ensure continuity of care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient evaluations, exams, and follow-up care Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Develop, manage, and update treatment plans based on patient needs Order, review, and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing Prescribe medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations Provide preventive care, patient education, and health counseling Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff Support continuity of care during temporary coverage assignments Follow clinic protocols, compliance standards, safety requirements, and confidentiality guidelines Requirements Active Physician license required MD or DO degree required Valid DEA license required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or applicable specialty preferred Prior experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, outpatient care, or community health preferred Comfortable managing a steady patient schedule Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a care team Electronic health record experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required Reliable availability for the agreed assignment schedule Benefits May Include Flexible schedule Referral program Professional development opportunities Travel or lodging support depending on assignment Malpractice coverage depending on assignment Weekly or biweekly pay depending on contract terms
Experience Physician:
