Emergency Medicine Position Overview Seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment . This role involves working in a busy emergency department with strong physician and mid-level support.

Scheduled clinical hours only (no call) Shift Schedule (Open Dates) August 6: 12 PM
  • 12 AM August 8: 12 PM
  • 12 AM August 9: 9 AM
  • 9 PM August 10: 12 PM
  • 12 AM August 28: 9 AM
  • 9 PM Requirements Active North Carolina PA license or IMLC eligibility NCCPA Certification (required) ACLS Certification (required) Must be enrolled in NC Medicaid and PECOS Board certified INDITP Practice Environment 2 physicians + 2 PAs per shift (split coverage) Open ICU No admissions required No supervisory responsibilities Collaborative emergency care team Credentialing & Logistics Credentialing timeframe: ~14 days Temporary privileges available Housing provided (hospital-owned apartments) Travel reimbursement capped at $500 Malpractice insurance provided
