Job Description

Onsite in Fife Lake, MI. Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm. with Friday overtime if needed. $18.50-$21/hour. This position will work primarily in a warehouse setting. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and will sometimes involve driving a fork truck. Hayes Manufacturing has been making quality power transmission products since 1973. To learn more, visit us at hayescouplings.com. Hayes Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator at our Fife Lake, MI location. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for working within the Operations team to coordinate the flow of goods between our factory and customers and affiliates (domestic and overseas), applying logistics and lean principles to all areas of responsibility.
What You'll Do:
Package and ship all UPS and FedEx parcels. Coordinate the processing and scheduling of outbound shipments. Develop and maintain positive communication with our external customers. Communicate with domestic and international freight companies, factories, distribution centers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of goods. Research and ensure coordination and import compliance with state, federal, and international regulations. Prepare import/export shipment paperwork for US and International Customs agencies. Audit shipping invoices and duties paperwork to ensure proper billing before processing by A/P.
What You'll Need:
High School or equivalent 3-5 years of relevant experience. 1 or more years of administrative supply chain experience in a Manufacturing environment. Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software. 1 -2 years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience. Strong administrator with exceptional organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills Proven detail-oriented skills. Solid ethical conduct and ability to handle sensitive information in confidence. Strong communication skills. Results-driven attitude with proven ability to be flexible to changing priorities. Strong self-initiative and able to work independently and with others. Friendly and customer focused.
What Helps:
