Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities Coordinate transportation planning and freight management to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency Oversee warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and materials handling processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms like SAP or AS400 Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels Utilize data analysis skills and tools such as Tableau and SQL to monitor supply chain performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement process improvements Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and 3PL providers to secure favorable pricing and contracts while managing vendor relationships effectively Lead procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and category management to support production planning and inventory needs Ensure compliance with transportation management systems (TMS), NVOCC regulations, and safety standards such as forklift operation and mechanical knowledge Experience Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics coordination within a warehouse or distribution environment Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, AS400), and MRP software for production planning Demonstrated ability in data collection, analysis skills, and supply chain analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives Familiarity with freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, vendor management, and contract negotiations Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; mechanical knowledge is a plus Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to analyze pricing strategies and optimize costs across categories Ability to work collaboratively across teams in e-commerce or traditional supply chain settings while managing multiple priorities efficiently Embark on a rewarding career path where your logistical expertise fuels operational success!
