Job Description

Job Summary The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the inspection of raw materials, in-process assembly activities, finished products, and other items as required. The Quality Control Technician is expected to perform essential duties that maintain an effective quality system and ensure product quality. This position will support the company's goal of ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company standards.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and test raw materials to parameters listed on ERP system or quality specification sheets. Inspect and test batches to parameters listed on ERP system or quality specification sheets. Clerical work, including but not limited to: generating certificates of analysis, ERP documentation/data entry, quality investigation reports. Perform quality tests properly by utilizing various equipment to produce results to assist in production decision-making Batch quality investigation testing General lab duties e.g. maintaining a tidy work space, restocking supplies, purging retains Make and/or prepare chemical samples up to 5 gallons. Follow all quality inspections procedures Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills within the organization Strong organizational and multitasking skills Possess a working knowledge of technical specifications, testing equipment, and good manufacturing practices. Computer skills especially in the use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and ability to manage files and records effectively Ability to operate a forklift Comply with the established quality, safety, and environment procedures and policies
Pay:
$25.11 - $30.23 per hour
