Full Job Description Scope:
The WarehouseTransportation Specialist is responsible for picking and packing outbound orders from stock, unloading and receiving inbounds into inventory, organizing and stocking all materials, general warehousing and ensuring all the orders are fulfilled accurately. This position is responsible for mulit-site responsibilities for Savannah and Bensalem warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Network Planners for transfers and inventory issues. Obtain appropriate knowledge on the company's products and know how these products should be handled and stored. Extended daily support for 3PL location, releasing deliveries, creating exports deliveries, inventory issues and daily functions. Work with Regulatory and Production to obtain labels needed for material. Warehousing and transportation planning, including waste/packaging material returns. Follow proper handling procedure for all goods ingoods out operations. Perform warehousing and transportation planning, including waste/packaging material returns. Examine and inspect stock items. Report damaged, surplus, and missing items. Print labels as needed. Perform cycle counting. Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels. Assist Lab in changing out waste drums. Process, pick, and perform QC and packing for all outbound shipment types: full truck load, less then truck load, and parcels. Process all outbound Sales Orders in SAP for outbound shipping. Post Good Issue all outbound deliveries in SAP. Daily reporting to CS on open orders. Enter daily SAP operations. Interact with Customer Service for inquiry feedback. Partner with EHS for warehouse EHS and 5S inspection. Assist in the training and the cross training of all team members. Participate in audits as needed. Perform warehousing and transportation planning, including waste/packaging material returns. Ensure all deliveries are closed at month end. Receiving all inbound deliveries. Conduct regular inspection for the owned equipment to ensure its safety and ability of performing operations. Maintain safe and clean work environment including the area of shelves, pallet and workstations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years' experience in busy warehouse environment, preferable with a chemical company. Ability to communicate information effectively and efficiently. Excellent problem solving and computer skills. Ability to execute multiple tasks or projects. SAP experience highly preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lifting objects to 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladder/stairs. Ability to bend, stoop and kneel. Ability to work in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, dusty). Ability to be trained to operate a forklift.
