Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Discover the charm of Port Wentworth, GA—where Southern hospitality meets scenic beauty. As a Traveling Imaging Professional specializing in Interventional Radiology, you'll gain hands-on exposure to advanced practices in a dynamic hospital environment. Work side-by-side with diverse leadership and expert colleagues, broadening your clinical skill set and enriching your resume while adapting to different workplace cultures.
Schedule/Hours:
4 x 10-hour shifts weekly Call coverage required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in 3 state-of-the-art Angiography Labs (including 2 dedicated IR labs and a hybrid OR). Collaborate in a 3-4 person interdisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient ratios (1:1). Operate a range of advanced imaging equipment: IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream. Accurately document procedures using EPIC Cupid. Deliver exemplary patient care in critical environments, including ICU and ER situations. Assist on diverse cases—Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, stroke, and trauma management.
Required Qualifications:
ARRT (RTR), or RCIS certification Previous Angio/IR and critical care experience (stroke & trauma care) ICU or ER background preferred ACLS and BLS certifications Proficiency managing critical care drips and emergency procedures
