We provide on-demand, tech-enabled driveaway services that give our partners a competitive edge in the convenience economy. Currently experiencing rapid growth with successful operations in multiple markets including Melvindale, MI, we're building America's first nationwide vehicle delivery platform. Position Overview Due to explosive growth in our Melvindale rail operations, we're seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator I to join our Melvindale team. This is a critical position that requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Direct supervision of independent contractors and driver network Lead daily huddles and safety briefings with all operational personnel Manage driver schedules and assignments across multiple shifts Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers to ensure retention Driver Management & Coaching Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to drivers to ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards Conduct regular check-ins with drivers to address performance issues and provide support Lead driver training sessions on safety requirements, customer service expectations, and operational procedures Monitor driver performance metrics and implement improvement plans as needed Facilitate driver onboarding and orientation processes Focus on driver retention strategies to maintain stable workforce Accountability & Compliance Ensure compliance with safety vest requirements Enforce hands-free cellphone usage only while driving Monitor and prevent speeding on-site - violations result in immediate removal Ensure accuracy in designated parking areas Verify compliance with customer-specific safety policies and yard rules at various operational locations Conduct regular audits of driver documentation and trip reports Address and resolve compliance violations through immediate corrective action Implement photo verification processes for key placement and safety compliance Driver Scheduling & Resource Management Create and maintain driver schedules based on operational demands Ensure adequate driver coverage during peak operating hours Coordinate driver assignments for specialized moves or customer requirements Manage driver availability and time-off requests Support driver recruitment and retention initiatives Manage independent contractor relationships to ensure network stability Administrative Operations Manage and track Bill of Ladings and delivery documentation Maintain accurate records of daily operations and driver activities Prepare and distribute daily operational reports Coordinate with dispatch team on move requests and scheduling Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly Ensure all documentation meets customer and regulatory requirements Logistics Planning & Coordination Coordinate transportation tasks to ensure prompt and efficient vehicle delivery Optimize driver routes and schedules to maximize productivity Dispatch team to balance driver workload and availability Monitor real-time operations to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks Support operations team with multi-location operations and new client implementations Collaborate with tech team to develop internal tools and prepare for automated dispatching and planning systems Required Qualifications Essential Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older with valid driver's license + 5 years of driving experience 3+ years of supervisory experience managing teams of 10+ people Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or automotive industry strongly preferred Proven track record of managing both employees and driver relationships Experience with high-volume operations and performance metrics Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various operational locations Continuous history of safe driving with clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Working Conditions Schedule :
Monday to Friday with every other weekend

Hybrid — WFH and Out in the Field-based operations with regular visits to rail yards and delivery locations
Travel :
Local travel to various operational sites and customer locations
