Logistics Dispatcher

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Dispatcher to join their team in Howard/Montgomery County. As a mid-level professional, you will be coordinating complex route schedules, managing driver communications, and ensuring 100% on-time delivery across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will be expected to handle high-pressure situations with a level head and optimize daily workflows to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

salary:

$18 - $24 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5

AssociateResponsibilities Route Optimization:

Plan and adjust daily routes via GPS/TMS to maximize fuel efficiency and meet delivery windows.

Stakeholder Communication:

Coordinate between warehouse, sales, and customers to provide ETAs and resolve issues.

Problem Solving:

Manage disruptions (breakdowns, weather, I-95 traffic) by rerouting assets and notifying stakeholders.

Reporting & Compliance:

Maintain digital logs and manifests in accordance with DOT and Maryland regulations.
