Job Requirements Falls Church, VA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Duties Help Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Develops and implements comprehensive plans, policies, processes, and procedures to comply with General Services Administration (GSA) and DoW space layout standards. Assists in the development of budget estimates for facility and physical security support, repair and maintenance, and space occupancy expenses for inclusion in the PFPA budget. Conducts research and performs analyses for special projects. Assists in the development of specifications for contracts relating to the acquisition of office equipment, furniture, equipment maintenance, rental of equipment, and services. Organizes and maintains control of documents relative to procurement, equipment, inventory accounting, contracts, and maintenance services. Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-11) requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position being filled. Applicants for this position must clearly demonstrate in their resume that they possess specialized experience in 1) applying government space management policies to analyze and solve facility related issues; 2) applying commonly used budgeting methods to develop funding requirements; 3) conducting research to determine most cost-effective means of procurement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
