Low Voltage Estimator

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented estimator to join our growing pre-construction team. In this role, you will join the bidding process for high-profile low-voltage projects across the educational and commercial sectors. If you can transform complex blueprints into highly accurate, competitive bids, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do Analyze Blueprints:

Review Division 27 and 28 specifications, RFPs, and architectural drawings.

Perform Takeoffs:

Calculate precise material, labor, and equipment counts.

Source Pricing:

Negotiate vendor pricing for cabling, cameras, and hardware.

Build Proposals:

Generate comprehensive, competitive bid packages.

Scope of Systems Structured Cabling:

Category copper, fiber optics, and telecom room layouts.

Access Control:

Keyless entry, cloud-based systems, and security gates.

Surveillance Cameras:

Enterprise IP video networks and storage solutions.

Intercom Systems:

Commercial PA, school bells, and mass notification hardware.

Qualifications We Look For Experience:

3+ years estimating low-voltage or electronic security systems.

Sector Knowledge:

Proven success bidding K-12, university, or corporate commercial projects.

$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
