Responsibilities:

Manage low voltage projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met Oversee structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode) Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project success Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Track project progress, manage change orders, and maintain detailed documentation Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Support estimating, budgeting, and procurement efforts as needed Lead and mentor field technicians and project teams

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, or data center environments Proven experience managing commercial or data center projects Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics, terminations, and testing) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, network diagrams, and construction documents Experience with project management tools and reporting systems BICSI, OSHA, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Why Work with Next Level Technician in Kings Point, NY?
