Basic Function :

To provide an educational environment to develop skills needed to be responsible life-long learners and citizens. To assist and ensure that every student achieves his/her level of educational excellence in the areas of academic, career, and social/emotional development through collaborative partnership with students, family, educators and community.

Duties :

Demonstrates ability to enhance academic performance and support for implementation of the school district student achievement goals. Provides evidence of student learning to students, families, and staff. Implements strategies supporting student, building, and district goals. Specifications/Qualifications :

Proper education and licensure as required by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time (each up to two hours at a time). Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Ability to talk, hear, and see clearly for greater than 20 feet and less than 20 inches. Requires fine motor skills.
