Overview:
Specialty:
School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education Locations available include: Wilmington, Pender, Burgaw, and the surrounding regions
Positions Available:
Full Time (>30 hrs/week) Per Diem (1-2 days/week availability minimum)
Shift:
May vary, approximately school hours, anywhere between 7:00am-3/4:00pm.
Days:
Monday through Friday, no holidays, weekends, or nights

Nurse:
Monday-Friday Schedule – never work nights or weekends Flexible schedule (Per Diem) – You decide which days to be available each week Competitive Pay! ($30/hr – $37/hr depending on experience) 8 Days of PTO Accrual Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans (Full Time Employees) 401k Retirement Plan with a 4% employer match after 1st year (Available to all) Paid orientation prior to your start On-call Clinical Supervisor support during school hours Responsibilities may include: Working 1:1 with a patient directly in the school with one or more of the following conditions (G-tube, trach, catheter, diabetes, seizures, vision impairments, wheelchair bound, etc) Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills Maintain accurate and confidential health records Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
Active, North Carolina Nursing License (Active Compact License Acceptable) CPR/BLS Certification Current Negative TB Result •Training Provided•: Seizure Disorder education Diastat administration Insulin injections and pumps Diabetic Management Medication Administration G-tube feedings Tracheostomy Care About Ro Health Ro Health is a rapidly growing healthcare staffing agency.
