Job Description

Schedule:
M-F have to be flexible from 7 am - 7pm, (shifts are around 8 hours. Working 40 hours a week) Key Responsibilities Provide both clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers within the practice Manage and coordinate assigned provider schedules throughout the day Oversee the medication and prescription line, ensuring timely and accurate handling of requests Route patient messages to the appropriate clinical staff (RN, PA, NP, or provider) when further assessment is needed Welcome patients and escort them from the waiting area to the appropriate clinical space Prepare patients for their appointments, including assisting with personal belongings and ensuring comfort in exam rooms Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR), including vital signs, medications, weight, and medical history updates Ensure charts are complete and ready for providers, including necessary labs, imaging, and documentation Prepare exam rooms and equipment, and assist providers during in-office procedures Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly, addressing questions within scope of practice Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA standards and adhere to all compliance requirements Report any adverse medication reactions or events to the supervising provider Participate in required trainings and in-services, including annual OSHA training and health screenings Perform additional duties as needed to support the practice Qualifications Graduate of an accredited LPN program Active LPN license in the state of practice Current CPR certification Willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed Strong problem-solving skills, able to handle a variety of practical situations with limited standardization Ability to interpret and follow instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Proficiency with computer and electronic medical record systems Commitment to treating patients, colleagues, and staff with dignity and respect
