LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or Registered Medical Assistant 1368 Neeley Street, Batesville, AR 72501 $17.50 - $20.00 an hour - Full-time $17.50 - $20.00 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy outpatient psychiatric clinic. We are a very small psychiatric office with two providers on staff. This role will require applicant to schedule and manage appointments, obtain demographic information and perform other administrative assistant tasks. The applicant must have a strong understanding of patient needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. We need someone who has experience in administering injections and they must be comfortable with drawing labs and utilizing computerized electronic health records. A working knowledge of Adobe, and Word is necessary skills for this position. Responsibilities Competently perform administrative assistant duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, triaging phone calls, completing prior authorizations for medications and procedure, and other various administrative assistant duties as directed. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, drawing labs, performing EKG's and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively. Support patients with daily living activities Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and treatment plans as needed Administer computerized testing as ordered by provider Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Valid LPN license or RMA certification in the state of practice. Previous experience in a medical clinic is preferred but not required Proficient in administering injections Experience with triage of patient needs Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient outcomes. We do not work Holidays.
