Holmes County Long Term Care Center located at 15481 Bow;omh Green Road, Durant, Mississippi 39063 has an exciting opportunity for a full time LPNs on miltiple shifts. Please apply online or in person . LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement discharge plans for patients.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including mobility and lifting.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs.
Requirements:
  • Valid LPN license in the state of Mississippi.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Point Click Care.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
