Job Description

Hourly Pay:
$35 per hour Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 care for a pediatric patient in both school and home settings. •This position involves caring for a patient with G-tube needs and behavioral support requirements, so experience in these areas is highly preferred.
Schedule:
Thursday & Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM We are looking for a nurse who can start onboarding as soon as possible. Candidates who are already fingerprinted with the school district are strongly preferred. If not, we can assist with the fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities:
Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Monitor and assess changes in patient condition (physiological and behavioral) Manage G-tube care and support behavioral needs Collaborate with caregivers, school staff, and healthcare team Accurately document patient status and care provided
Qualifications:
Active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state Current BLS certification Current TB test or chest X-ray Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred Experience with G-tubes and behavioral support is a plus
