Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Golden healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care for our pediatric clients in the school and home setting. This role requires a versatile nurse with at least 6 months experience and the desire to be part of a winning team that supports you and your client. The candidate will utilize their expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, medical documentation and team collaboration Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs and physical assessments Administer medications accurately while adhering to doctor's orders and individualized plan of care Perform specialized procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, seizure management, diabetic management, and respiratory assessment and interventions Document all patient interactions thoroughly using electronic health record systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education on disease management, medication use, nutrition, and health coaching tailored to patient and family needs Ensure infection control practices are maintained according to agency standards Skills Patient assessment techniques including vital signs monitoring and physical examinations Excellent communication skills for working with diverse populations including children with disabilities or developmental delays Ability to work effectively in providing one to one care Follow and document the patient's plan of care Administer medications, treatments, and therapies Perform routine assessments and monitor changes in condition This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare team where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and quality of life.
